ASK Development Pte. Ltd. is a subsidiary company formed by the 3 firms to undertake the development of Sanctuary@Newton Condo.

Amara Holdings Limited owns 40% shares of ASK Development Pte. Ltd. through its subsidiary Creative Investments Pte Ltd, while Santarli Capital Venture Pte Ltd and Kay Lim Realty Pte Ltd will each own 30% of the shares.

Amara Holdings Limited traces it history to 1928 when the late Teo Teck Huat incorporated a building construction business, Teo Teck Huat Contractors, which did renovation and repair works besides construction of buildings. One of the more significant projects handled by the company was the construction of the former Cathay Building, which was situated at the foot of Mount Sophia. Completed in 1939, the 16-Storey Cathay Building was once the tallest building in Singapore.

Formed as Teo Teck Huat Enterprise (Private) Limited in 1970, the Group continued its expansion in both the businesses of building construction and property development. The company then changed its name to Teo Teck Huat Investments Pte Ltd and later to Amara Holdings Pte Ltd. First listed on the SGX Sesdaq in 1997, Amara Holdings Limited subsequently moved to the Singapore Exchange Mainboard in 2000.

Amara Holdings Limited recently completed 10 Evelyn, which is just diagonally across from Sanctuary@Newton at 10 Evelyn Road. The freehold development of 10 Evelyn came about from the amalgamation of the lands of 29 Newton Road and 31 Newton Road. Comprising of 56 apartments, 10 Evelyn has a unit mix of 1 Bedroom, 2 Bedroom and 3 Bedroom.

Other residential developments developed by Amara Holdings include the Tampines Executive Condominium of CityLife@Tampines, The Linear located at Upper Bukit Timah Road, and three District 9/10 developments of Killiney 118, The Abode@Devonshire and M5.

Besides construction and property development, Amara Holdings Limited is involved in the hospitality industry. The group owns the eponymous 384-room Amara Hotel, which started operations in 1986. Amara Holdings have since expanded its hospitality operations to Bangkok and Shanghai. In addition, the group also operates the Amara Sanctuary Resort at Sentosa Island.
